Group Photography Workshops

Join me for an informal workshop to learn more about photography in the beautiful setting of the Lake District.  I am offering a number of workshops that cater for beginners and you don't need an expensive camera to do it. They are suitable for all ages and ability, even if you have just bought a camera and would like to know how to use it to it's potential. 

The workshop will show you how to get the best from your camera and move away from automatic settings. Topics of discussion will include focusing, composition, settings and the use of filters. 

The workshop will explore specified locations and all will involve shorts walks. A suggested kit list will be provided.  

Client to provide own food, drink, camera equipment and transport to the initial meeting point.

Cost is £49 per person

Sunrise workshops are an additional £10 per person

Contact me for availability if you have a small group (minimum 2 persons) and wish to customise a workshop on other dates. 

Derwent Water Group Workshop (4-5 hours)

Meeting at Crow Park (car parking tariff applies) for 8am, we will begin the walk along Derwent Water taking in the vistas and various compositions.

Blea Tarn Group Workshop (4-5 hours)

Meeting at Blea Tarn National Trust (car parking tariff applies, free for National Trust members) for 8am, we will begin the walk from the car park areas of interest will include the tarn itself, Lingmoor fell and Langdale pikes.

Sunrise Group Workshop (4-5 hours)

Meeting at Crow Park Car Park, on Derwent Water (car parking tariff applies) approximately 45 mins before sunrise (time dependent on day). The workshop will begin at Crow Park for Sunrise followed by an amble along the waters edge taking in a couple of additional locations.

Workshop Terms and Conditions

• 50% deposit required to secure the booking paid via BACS or Paypal, unless with 48 hours full payment required at time of booking.
• Balance in full 48 hours prior to workshop date. 
• Cancel within 24 hours no refund
• If workshop cancelled by Shaun Derby an alternative date will be offered if not suitable a full refund will be made.
• The workshops will not be cancelled due to bad weather as tuition can still take place (intended location may change)
• Own camera equipment must be insured and Shaun Derby Photography will not be liable for loss or damage of equipment.
